Over the last 14 years, Jan Leyssens has directed and produced (edited and shot) more than 3000 hours of primetime television on top 10 rating shows in Belgium and Holland.

 

 

For the moment, Jan is based in New York, but his production company, LCO Productions, is still operative in Belgium.

Last year Jan created LCO Productions LLC for the US market

Currently, Jan is editing a documentary series for The PlayBoy Channel, called Warhol's Children about the Manhattan art scene. Before that he shot and directed the Excecutive Lifestyle Series for BioBusiness TV

Jan Leyssens started as a news director in '93, directed a hidden camera series, three show business shows, an investigation journalism series, a talk show for the commercial networks and a successful fiction series “Gelukkig zijn” for the Belgian public channel VRT.

But his biggest credit was directing the hugely popular documentary series “Jambers"
Where host Paul Jambers interviewed people with extreme lifestyles in a patented cinema verite style.
This groundbreaking human interest show in Belgium and Holland
broke all the rating records and secured the number one spot for many years in Belgium and Holland.
